There are several excellent Golf Courses within 5 minutes to half and hour from Paton Place. These include Cove Links, a challenging 9 hole course just 5 minutes away.
Ladner Village Market
Located in historic Ladner Village, 2009 marks the 13th year of operation of the Ladner Village Market. This three block long open-air market runs rain or shine and has over 140 vendors from all over the southern province. As the vendors vary each Sunday the market is never the same twice! Shop 'til you drop as you peruse the fresh produce; plants and garden accessories; hand-made jewellery; soaps; crafts, and so many more original creations.

Granville Island
The
centrepiece of the Island shopping experience, the Public Market is an
irresistible emporium of green grocers, butchers, bakers, fishmongers,
importers, ethnic food sellers, craft vendors, sweet stands, florists and
casual eateries. It also features a wine shop and a micro-roaster of organic
coffee.
Everything in the Public Market is on display, from bakerybackrooms to a mini fudge-making factory. There's something here for everyone!
